Huskers Release 2025 Schedule

The Nebraska women’s gymnastics team announced its 2025 schedule on Wednesday, Oct. 16. It features five home meets at the Bob Devaney Sports Center amongst 14 competitions.

NU will open its season on the road in the Nashville invite against Auburn, BYU and Oklahoma on Saturday, Jan. 4 at 4:05 p.m. The team will then travel to Gainesville, Florida to take on the Florida Gators starting at 7:45 p.m. (CT) on Friday, Jan. 10. 

The Huskers will open Big Ten competition with an away meet at Illinois in Champaign on Saturday, Jan. 18 at 1 p.m. (CT). Nebraska will then make their home debut against Maryland on Sunday, Jan. 26 at 4 p.m. (CT). 

The Big Red will host Iowa in their second consecutive home match of the season on Saturday, Feb. 1 at 7 p.m. (CT). Nebraska will follow that up with another road competition in Ann Arbor against Michigan on Sunday, Feb. 9 at 4 p.m. (CT).

NU will compete at the Bob Devaney Sports Center again on Saturday, Feb. 15 against Michigan State at 7 p.m. (CT), before two road matches — Saturday, Feb. 22 at Minnesota at 4 p.m. (CT) and the Big Four meet in Columbus, Ohio, on Sunday, March 2 at 4 p.m. (CT) where Nebraska will compete against Ohio State, Rutgers and UCLA.

The Huskers will end their regular season with two home meets with UNH at 7 p.m. (CT) on Saturday, March 8, and the Master’s Classic on Saturday, March 15 at 6:30 p.m. (CT). The Ameritas Masters Classic will feature Iowa State, Temple and TWU. 

The 2025 Big Ten Championships will take place in Ann Arbor, Mich., on March 21st and 22nd. 

NCAA Regionals are set from April 3 to April 6. The 2024 NCAA Championships will take place on Thursday, April 17 and Saturday, April 19 in Fort Worth, Texas. 

Nebraska will have 16 returnees this season, including First-Team All-Big Ten honoree Emma Spence and Second-Team All-Big Ten member Sophia McClelland

NU also has five newcomers, including Lindenwood transfers Reese Baechle and Nya Kraus. Kraus was a First-Team All-MIC honoree and qualified for the second round of the NCAA Championships on beam. The Big Red welcomes three freshmen in Reese Baker, Lauren Hollifield and Molly Peterson.
