Lincoln, Neb. - Several Nebraska women’s tennis athletes are set to compete in the Lincoln Pro Women’s Tennis Open this week, held at the Sid and Hazel Dillon Tennis Center. The ITF W15 tournament features singles and doubles play, and welcomes a wide range of international opponents. The tournament runs Nov. 4-10, and will start at 11 a.m. (CT) each day.
Huskers Yuzu Miyoshi and Lucy Loy, as well as recent Big Red Alum Isa Adrover Gallego, are slated for the qualifying round of singles on Nov. 4. Miyoshi’s match against Shria Atturu will begin at 10 a.m. (CT) on Court 1. Following Miyoshi’s match, Gallego will take on Taylor Gruber. Not before 1 p.m. (CT), Loy will face Danielle Willson on Court 1.
Additional Husker action in the tournament will be updated as the draw develops. After the Lincoln Pro Women’s Tennis Open, the Big Red fall season will be nearly finished.
