Big Ten Announces 2025 Conference Football Schedule

The Big Ten announced its 2025 football schedule on Wednesday, providing all 18 conference schools with dates for each of their nine conference games.

Nebraska will play five Big Ten home games at Memorial Stadium, along with four league road contests. The Huskers begin Big Ten action at home against Michigan on Saturday, Sept. 20, marking the second straight year Nebraska has opened Big Ten play in Lincoln.

Following a bye week, Nebraska stays at home for a matchup with Michigan State on Oct. 4, followed by a two-game road trip to Maryland (Oct. 11) and Minnesota (Oct. 18). The Huskers then return to Lincoln to host Northwestern on Oct. 25, followed by USC’s first visit to Memorial Stadium as a Big Ten opponent on Nov. 1.

The Huskers once again travel west in November, taking on UCLA at the Rose Bowl on Nov. 8, followed by the second bye week of the season.  Nebraska closes the regular season with a road game at Penn State on Nov. 22, followed by its traditional Black Friday game against Iowa on Friday, Nov. 28 in Lincoln.

The Big Ten Conference slate follows Nebraska’s three non-conference contests to open the 2025 season. Nebraska will take on Cincinnati at a neutral site to open the season, followed by home games against Akron (Sept. 6) and Houston Christian (Sept. 13).
