Huskers Open Beach Season in Florida

The Nebraska beach volleyball team begins its 2025 season in Florida this weekend. Nebraska will play four matches at the Stetson Spring Fling on Cooper Beach in DeLand, Fla.

The Huskers will face Stephen F. Austin on Friday at 8 a.m. (CT) in their first match of the season. NU will also play No. 20 Stetson on Friday at Noon (CT). On Saturday, Nebraska will play Mercer at 8 a.m. (CT) and Eckerd at 10 a.m. (CT). 

The Huskers' projected pairs to begin the season are (in alphabetical order): Rebekah Allick/Olivia Mauch, Maisie Boesiger/Taylor Landfair, Laney Choboy/Skyler Pierce, Campbell Flynn/Keri Leimbach, Andi Jackson/Harper Murray and Bergen Reilly/Teraya Sigler. Freshman Ryan Hunter will not play beach season as she continues to work her way back from a season-ending injury in 2024. 

Nebraska is coming off a 16-11 season in 2024, its most wins in beach volleyball program history.
