The Nebraska women’s basketball team closes its regular-season home schedule by playing host to Washington at Pinnacle Bank Arena for the first time on Sunday.
Tip-off between Nebraska (18-9, 9-7 Big Ten) and the Huskies (15-12, 6-9 Big Ten) on Senior Day in Lincoln is set for 2 p.m. (CT).

Three-time All-Big Ten center Alexis Markowski put together arguably her best game as a Husker with a career-high 35 points and a season-high 15 rebounds. The 6-3 senior from Lincoln also tied her career high by connecting on six three-pointers.
After the Huskers fell behind by 14 in the third quarter, Markowski scored 11 straight points early in the fourth to tie the game at 70 with six minutes left. She finished with 16 in the period, including the game-tying three-pointer to send it to overtime tied at 81. Her final three-pointer gave Nebraska the lead for good in overtime to complete a 23-point second half for the Lisa Leslie Award finalist.
Markowski will be joined by Kendall Coley, Kendall Moriarty and Alberte Rimdal in Nebraska's postgame Senior Day festivities Sunday.
Coley, a 6-2 graduate student from Minneapolis, ranks among the top five players in Husker history with 132 games played. Moriarty, a 6-1 senior from Wheaton, Ill., has joined Markowski and Coley as reliable and consistent contributors throughout their careers. Moriarty has appeared in 103 consecutive games for the Big Red and 125 games overall.
In her first season with the Huskers, Rimdal has played all 27 games with six starts and is averaging 7.4 points and 2.1 assists. Over the past four games, the 5-9 guard from Koge, Denmark, has averaged 14.3 points and 2.5 assists while hitting 56.3 percent of her shots, including 5-of-11 three-pointers.
Nebraska will also honor five additional student staff members on Senior Day, including graduate manager Taylor Edwards, scout team and manager Isaac Heimes and Darrin Pokorny and student managers Kayla Benson and Nevaeh Stauffer.
