Abby Baxter earned a spot at the 2025 NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships by capturing a ninth-place finish on the three-meter board at the NCAA Zone D Diving Championships on Monday, March 10.
Baxter, a sophomore from Coppell, Texas, produced a score of 324.70 to claim her first appearance at the NCAA Championships.
Baxter added a 15th-place finish at the Zone D one-meter competition on Tuesday, putting up 562.15 points. The top 11 divers at the zone meet qualified for the NCAA Championships.
Baxter will join Husker distance freestyle swimmer Gena Jorgenson at the NCAA Championships in Federal Way, Wash., March 19-22. Baxter is set to compete on the three-meter board on Friday, March 21 with prelims beginning at 9 a.m. and finals at 5 p.m. (CT). The competition will be streamed live on ESPN+.
The Zone D Diving Championships conclude on Wednesday, March 12 with platform diving prelims at 9 a.m. (CT) and finals at 5 p.m. (CT).
