The No. 20 Nebraska women’s gymnastics team (5-11, 3-6 Big Ten) will be back at home as they welcome Iowa State, Temple and Texas Woman's University for the annual Ameritas Masters Classic on Saturday, March 15. The meet will begin at 6:30 p.m. (CT) at the Bob Devaney Sports Center and will be streamed on B1G+.
Saturday will mark Senior Night for the Huskers, who will honor their seniors for their contributions to the program at the conclusion of the meet. NU will also recognize women’s gymnastics alumni before the meet begins.
This will be Nebraska’s first matchup against Temple, but the Big Red hold a 100-14-1 lead over the Cyclones and a 6-0 advantage over the Pioneers.
Last Time Out
NU scored a 196.350 to defeat New Hampshire on Saturday. The Big Red grabbed four titles and notched a season high team score on floor of 49.375.
Whitney Jencks earned the all-around title with a career-high 39.350, while also grabbing a share of the bars title with a 9.900. Jencks shared the title with teammates Emma Spence and Emma Simpton. Isabel Sikon earned the beam title with a 9.850 and Sophia McClelland notched a 9.925 to grab the floor title.

Iowa State is ranked No. 39 in the Road to Nationals poll with an average team mark of 195.057 and a high mark of 195.825. They own a 5-10 record.
Texas Woman’s University is ranked No. 50 in the Road to Nationals poll with an average team mark of 194.413 and a high mark of 196.600. They own a 6-10 record.
The Temple Owls are ranked No. 51 in the Road to Nationals poll with an average team score of 193.896 and a high score of 195.375. They own a 11-15 record.
