Nebraska track and field is sending 12 athletes to the NCAA Indoor Championships, hosted at the Virginia Beach Sports Center in Virginia Beach, Va. The meet begins with the men’s heptathlon on Friday at 8:15 a.m. (CT) and continues on Saturday at 8:30 a.m. (CT).
This year’s 12 Huskers competing marks the most athletes to qualify for the NCAA Indoor Championships since 2010, where the Huskers sent 14 athletes.
The top 16 student-athletes in each event qualify for the NCAA Indoor Championships each year. Nebraska’s qualifiers are Tyus Wilson and Mason Kooi (high jump), Micaylon Moore (triple jump), Maxwell Otterdahl (shot put), Dyson Wicker (pole vault), Henry Zimmerman (weight throw), Jenna Rogers (high jump), Lishanna Ilves (long jump), Rhianna Phipps (triple jump), Axelina Johansson, Mine De Klerk and Kalynn Meyer (shot put).
Live championship coverage will be streamed on ESPN+ on Friday, March 14 starting at 8:15 a.m. (CT) and Saturday, March 15 at 8:30 a.m. (CT). The championships will re-air on Sunday, March 16 on ESPNU. Live championships results will be available here.
