The Nebraska beach volleyball team swept three matches on Thursday at Ocean Park in Santa Monica, California. The Huskers topped Santa Monica, Hope International and Ventura all by scores of 5-0.
With their 17th straight win, the Huskers (17-3) set a new school record for most wins in a season. The Huskers won 30 of the 31 sets played on Thursday.
Nebraska still has five matches remaining, two on Friday and three on Saturday. NU resumes action on Friday at 3 p.m. (CT) against Moorpark at Moorpark College Beach Volleyball Complex. The Big Red will also play Santa Monica again at 4 p.m. (CT).
