Volleyball Selected for Three More National TV Broadcasts

In conjunction with the AVCA and FOX, the Nebraska volleyball program announced the start times and TV information for three more regular-season matches on Monday. 

The Huskers will open the regular season in the AVCA First Serve at Pinnacle Bank Arena against Pittsburgh on Friday, Aug. 22 at 6 p.m. (CT) on FOX. Nebraska will also face Stanford in the AVCA First Serve on Sunday, Aug. 24 at 2:30 p.m. on ESPN. Limited tickets for all four days of the event are still available for purchase through Ticketmaster.

In addition to the release of the AVCA First Serve schedule, FOX also announced that Nebraska's match at defending national champion Penn State on Oct. 3 will air on FOX at 7 p.m. (CT). 

The Big Red now has five nationally televised matches on the schedule. NU plays Kentucky at the Broadway Block Party in Nashville, Tenn. on Sunday, Aug. 31 at 11 a.m. (CT) on ABC. The Huskers will battle Minnesota on the road on Saturday, Nov. 8 on NBC. 

The composite Big Ten volleyball television schedule will be announced in conjunction with Big Ten Volleyball Media Days July 28-29.
