Husker Alumni Win Nebraska Queens and PWBA Regional

Written byEvan Boldt

Husker alumni showed out this past weekend with top finishes in two tournaments. At the Nebraska USBC Queens Tournament held at Chop's Bowl in Omaha, Kendyl Hofmeister and Kristi Rosberg placed first and second, respectively, and Julia Bond tied for third.

Meanwhile, Kayla Pashina was victorious in the 2025 PWBA Twin Cities Regional at Cedarvale Lanes in Eagan, Minnesota, earning her first win as a professional. Seeded No. 2 after the qualifying round, Pashina fended off No. 3 Elizabeth Rittenour, 223-153, before taking down No. 1 Kaia Gray, 245-215, to win the regional.
