Written byEvan Boldt

The Nebraska Bowling Team is ranked fourth in the December National Tenpin Coaches Association (NTCA) Poll after going 36-16 in the fall portion of the 2025-2026 schedule.

The Huskers received a total of 1,666 points from the 46 voters, including one first place vote. Jacksonville State is first with 1,974 points, and 43 first-place votes while Vanderbilt (1,839, 2), Arkansas State (1686), Nebraska and Louisiana Tech (1,612) round out the top five.

The top seven programs in the December poll are from Conference USA, as all 12 members are ranked in the top 18 nationally.

After beginning the season with a dominant 12-1 first place finish in the Chelsea Gilliam Penguin Classic, the Big Red cooled off, going 9-4 with a fifth-place finish in Destination Orlando.   The Huskers would open

November with an 8-5 record and seventh-place finish in the Bulldog Classic, followed by a fourth-place finish at the Colonial Classic.  A bright spot in November was Karina Capron being named to the CUSA Performers of the Month team. The Huskers were without NTCA Bowler of the Year Jillian Martin for the Colonial Classic, as she was competing with Team USA.

NU will resume action in mid-January, as the Huskers travel to New Castle, Del., for the Northeast Classic which takes place from Jan. 16-18.
