No. 3 Nebraska Eyes Upset Over No. 1 Oklahoma

No. 3 Nebraska is headed to No. 1 Oklahoma to compete in a top-three match-up. The meet will take place on Feb. 28 at 6 p.m. (CT) at McCasland Field House in Norman, Okla. The meet will be on ESPN+.

Jim Hartung, the longtime Husker assistant coach who passed away Jan. 10, shared a championship legacy with Oklahoma head coach Mark Williams at Nebraska. The two competed together and won NCAA team titles in 1979 and 1980, and Williams added another alongside Hartung in 1981 while serving as a graduate assistant coach. Their bond as teammates and champions became a lasting part of Nebraska gymnastics history.
