Nebraska track and field returns home to host the 50th Annual Frank Sevigne Husker Invitational this Friday and Saturday at the Bob Devaney Sports Center.
Action begins with combined events at 11 a.m. on Friday, followed by running events at 2 p.m. and field events at 2:30 p.m. On Saturday, the heptathlon continues at 10 a.m., while field and running events begin at 11 a.m.
All the action this weekend will be streamed on B1G+.
The Nebraska women check in at No. 15 in this week's USTFCCCA Poll, while the Husker men are ranked No. 24.

Huskers Shattering School Records
The Huskers have been rewriting the record books this indoor season. NU has four new school records already:
• Dyson Wicker, Men's Pole Vault (18-9 1/4, 5.72m)
• Berlyn Schutz, 800m (2:04.81)
• Berlyn Schutz, 3000m (9:06.41)
• Axelina Johansson, 64-8 1/2 (19.72m) - NCAA indoor record
Husker Shot Put Ranks as Nation's Best Unit
In the USTFCCCA Event Squad Rankings this week, both the Husker men's shot put and women's shot put rank No. 1 nationally as a unit.
NU's men's high jump and men's weight throw both rank No. 3 overall.
The Husker women's weight throw ranks No. 4 in the country, and the high jump and 800m unit rank No. 5 overall.
DeLoss Dodds Invitational Recap
Day 1: Nebraska track and field concluded the first day of competition at the DeLoss Dodds Invitational with three new personal bests and two top ten marks in school history.
Ali Bainbridge moved into third in school history in the women’s 3000m, running 9:16.55, earning a fifth-place finish.
Xavier Bogan jumped a personal best 7.75m (25-5 ¼) in the men’s long jump, finishing in second. Kavian Kerr finished in seventh with a mark of 7.15m (23-5 ½).
In his first collegiate 800m, Shadrack Chilia ran 1:49.39 to claim a second-place finish and move into eighth in school history. Gabe Nash clocked a season best, 1:49.60, finishing third.
Sydney Drevlow was the first Husker to step on the track on Friday, running a personal best, 2:10.83, to finish eighth.
Day 2: Four Husker track and field athletes competed at the final day of the DeLoss Dodds Invitational in Manhattan.
Ashmika Korala made his collegiate debut finishing ninth in the World Athletics Bronze triple jump with a mark of 15.09m (49-6 ¼). Ronaldo Andrews finished 11th, jumping 14.84m (48-4 ¼).
On the women’s side, Rhianna Phipps finished in eighth with a mark of 12.89m (42-3 ½).
Jaylee Wingate competed in the women’s mile invite, running 4:51.46, good for a sixth-place finish.
