Huskers Host Northwestern on Senior Day

The No. 5 Nebraska wrestling team (9-6, 2-3 Big Ten) looks to snap a three-dual losing streak on Senior Day against Northwestern (3-6, 1-5 Big Ten) on Sunday, Feb. 8, at the Devaney Center. The final home dual of the season is set for 1 p.m. (CT) and will be streamed on B1G+, with live stats available on Trackwrestling.

NU enters the matchup seeking to return to the win column following a challenging road loss at No. 1 Penn State last weekend. The Huskers will honor their seniors while facing Northwestern in a Big Ten dual that could feature up to two top-25 ranked bouts.

The lone potential rematch of the dual comes at 133, where No. 10 Jacob Van Dee is expected to face No. 22 Sean Spidle. The two previously met at the NCAA Championships, with Van Dee earning a decision victory and holding a 1-0 record in the series.
