Ailis Tribolet finished with a one-over-par 217 to tie for 25th individually to lead the Nebraska women's golf team to a 10th-place finish in a strong 16-team field at the MountainView Collegiate in Tucson, Ariz., on Sunday.
Tribolet, a true freshman from Chandler, Ariz., put together her fifth straight top-25 finish by posting an even-par 72 for the second straight round on the 6,405-yard layout of The Preserve Golf Club at Saddlebrooke. Tribolet opened the tournament with a 73 (+1), including an eagle on the par-5, 520-yard eighth hole on Friday.
Junior Hannah Kono was Nebraska's No. 2 finisher in a tie for 28th at 218 (+2) after an even-par 72 in the opening round, before back-to-back rounds of 73 on Saturday and Sunday.
Redshirt junior Lauren Thiele matched Nebraska's best round of the tournament with a 71 (-1) on Sunday, but she could not fully recover from an opening-round 79 (+7). Thiele tied for 50th with Husker freshman Kaleigh Babineaux at 225 (+7), Babineaux, who closed with a 74 (+2) to complete NU's 290 team score on Sunday, had her streak of six consecutive top-25 tournament finishes snapped.
Redshirt junior Symran Shah completed the Husker contingent in a tie for 70th at 229 (+13) after her final-round 82 (+10). Shah led Nebraska on Saturday with a 71 (-1), after opening the tournament with a 76 (+4).
Nebraska closed with a three-round total of 73 (+9), including back-to-back rounds of 290 (+2) to end the tournament.
No. 25 Iowa State won the 15-team tournament with an 844 (-20), while Texas Tech took home second place at 848 (-16). Iowa finished third at 857 (-7), while North Texas (859) and No. 34 Missouri (862) rounded out the top-five teams who all finished below par for the tournament. The hosts from No. 33 Kansas State took sixth at 867 (+3).
Texas Tech's Denisa Vodickova earned the individual title with a 54-hole total of 207 (-9), while Malisone Chanthapanya (North Texas) and Jiarui Chen (Kansas State) tied for second at 208 (-8).
Nebraska returns to action at the Chevron Silverado Showdown (April 6-8) in Napa, Calif., in its final regular-season tournament ahead of the 2026 Big Ten Women's Golf Championship in Glendale, Calif. (April 24-26).
