Two-time All-American Strachan, placed fourth at Big Ten Championships and fifth at the NCAA Championships in his first season with the Big Red. The senior captain is the school record holder in the javelin after throwing 81.01m (265-9) to win the WACT title at the Drake Relays in 2025.

Nebraska begins the outdoor season on March 27-28 with the Hurricane Collegiate Invitational in Miami, Fla.
