Nebraska track and field's first outdoor home meet in seven years has had a schedule change this weekend due to the weather forecast.
The Husker Spring Kickoff at the brand new Nebraska Outdoor Track will now be held Friday only. Field events will begin at Noon and running events will start at 12:30 p.m. The meet is scheduled to end around 4:30 p.m. The pole vault and high jump will be contested inside the Bob Devaney Sports Center Indoor Track.
The Nebraska Outdoor Track will serve as the host site for the 2026 Big Ten Outdoor Championships in May. The Huskers have not hosted an outdoor track and field home meet since May 4, 2019 at Ed Weir Stadium.
