Soccer Releases 2026 Schedule

The Nebraska soccer team will play 19 matches, including 10 home and nine away, next season, as the team announced its 2026 schedule on Wednesday.

Nebraska will kick off the 2026 campaign on Wednesday, Aug. 5 against Colorado State in Fort Collins, Colo., before heading to Louisville, Ky., to take on Louisville on Wednesday, Aug. 12. 

The Big Red will then enjoy a four-game homestand, hosting South Dakota on Sunday, Aug. 16 and Notre Dame on Thursday, Aug. 20. NU will welcome Alabama on Sunday, Aug. 23 and will close the homestand with Omaha on Thursday, Aug. 27. 

NU will finish the regular season at Kansas State on Sunday, Aug. 30. 

The Huskers will open the Big Ten season against Indiana on Thursday, Sept. 10, at Barbara Hibner Stadium before heading to Iowa City, Iowa, to take on the Hawkeyes on Sunday, Sept. 13. The Big Red will return home for a matchup against defending Big Ten Champion Washington on Sunday, Sept. 20, then head north to Michigan for games at Michigan State and Michigan on Thursday, Sept. 24 and Sunday, Sept. 27, respectively. 

Nebraska is set for a match against Wisconsin in Lincoln on Sunday, Oct. 4 and will play at Maryland on Thursday, Oct. 8 and at Rutgers on Sunday, Oct. 11. 

NU will host three straight home matches – Illinois on Sunday, Oct. 18, USC on Thursday, Oct. 22 and UCLA on Sunday, Oct. 25 – before closing out the regular season at Purdue on Friday, Oct. 30. 

The Big Ten Tournament will take place from Nov. 4-Nov. 13 and the NCAA Tournament will run from Nov. 20-Dec. 14.
