Five Nebraska men's tennis student-athletes took home Academic All-Big Ten honors for their dedicated work in the classroom and on the court, the Big Ten Conference announced.
Senior Leo Linquet earned his third straight Academic All-Big Ten honor while graduate student Henry Bilicic and sophomore Colson Wells added to the list for the second straight year. Seniors Nikolay Sysoev and Joan Torres Espinosa joined the list for the first time in their last collegiate season.
The Big Ten Conference recognized a total of 2,761 students on spring sports rosters who were named to the Academic All-Big Ten Team. To be eligible for Academic All-Big Ten selection, students must be on a varsity team, have been enrolled full time at the institution for a minimum of 12 months and carry a cumulative grade-point average of 3.0 or higher.
