Diving Duo Represent Big Red at USA Nationals

Finishing off a successful summer of competition for the Nebraska swimming and diving program was a duo of divers who traveled to the 2026 USA Diving National Championships. Competing for the Huskers was veteran Abby Baxter and rising sophomore Addy Farman at the Peak Health Aquatic Center at Mylan Park in Morgantown, West Virginia. 

Baxter, a 2026 NCAA honorable-mention All-America honoree competed on the one- and three-meter springboards. She found her best footing on the one-meter board, where she landed a sixth-place finish with a total score of 437.50. In the prelims, Baxter dove for a 220.65 in the event. 

On the three-meter, Baxter reached a score of 230.00 in the prelims and ended with an amassed score of 491.25. The senior from Coppell, Texas finished in ninth-place. 

Qualifying for her first Nationals, Farman competed on the one-meter springboard. Her score of 192.20 was enough for a 15th-place prelim finish. 

The Big Red will shortly begin NCAA competition on Sept. 25 at the Devaney Natatorium with the Nebraska Good Life Relays.
