Husker Bowling announces 2026-27 schedule

The Nebraska Bowling team's 2026-27 season schedule has been finalized, Head Coach Paul Klempa announced Monday.

The Huskers will participate in eight regular-season contests, in addition to the Conference USA and NCAA Championships in the postseason.

The Big Red begin the season in Youngstown, Ohio, at the Chelsea Gilliam Penguin Classic held from Oct. 16-18. The Huskers took first in the Classic in 2025 with then-freshman Abby Starkey taking home MVP honors. The season continues with Destination Orlando in Florida from Oct. 30-Nov. 1, where the Scarlet and Cream previously placed fifth. The following weekend the Huskers go to San Antonio, Texas for the Bulldog Classic from Nov. 6-8, having finished seventh in 2026. The fall slate wraps up with the Bearcat Classic in Fairview Heights, Ill. from Nov. 13-15, where the Huskers last attended in 2022, when they placed fourth.

Nebraska kicks off 2027 with the Northeast Classic in New Castle, Del. from Jan. 15-17. They finished ninth in 2026. After that, the Huskers travel to Arlington, Texas for the Prairie View Invitational from Jan. 22-24. Canceled due to inclement weather in 2026, the Big Red last attended in 2025, placing fifth. NU then travels to St. Louis, Mo., for the Saints Invite from Jan. 29-31. They took home third place hardware in 2026. The Huskers then return home for the Big Red Invitational in Lincoln, Neb., from Feb. 19-21, where they also finished third in 2026. The regular season ends with the Stallings Invitational held in Greensboro, N.C. from Feb. 26-28. Nebraska took home third in 2026.

The postseason begins with the Conference USA Championship, this year hosted by NU in Lincoln from March 17-21. Last season, the Huskers ended in fourth place. The season concludes with the NCAA Regionals, which have yet to be announced, and the NCAA Championships held in Pittsburgh, Pa. from April 6-10. Previously, Nebraska fell short of making it out of the regional round in 2026.
