Played two seasons at Johnson County Community College. • Helped the Cavaliers to back-to-back NJCAA DI Baseball World Series appearances and a combined record of 105-25 in two seasons. • Totaled a .346 batting average with nine doubles, a triple, 10 home runs, 51 RBI and 51 runs scored in 70 games played with the Cavaliers. • As a sophomore, batted .356 with eight doubles, 1 triple, 10 homers, 47 RBI and 47 runs scored. • Posted a .412 on-base percentage and .606 slugging percentage.

North Platte High School
Four-year letterwinner in baseball. • Also lettered in basketball and football. • Two-time all-state selection in baseball. • Batted .397 with 18 doubles and two homers as a senior. • As a junior, hit .386 with 14 doubles and a pair of home runs.
