Finished third on the team with 21 appearances on the mound in first season with the Big Red. • Went 0-2 with a team-leading five saves. • Totaled a 5.01 ERA and 18 punchouts in 23.1 innings. • Tallied saves against Baylor, Charleston, Wichita State, Nicholls and Minnesota. • Recorded at least one inning in 15 of 21 appearances on the season. • Pitched a season-high two innings vs. Kansas, Creighton and Minnesota. • Tallied a season-high two strikeouts against New Mexico State, Kansas and Creighton.

Pasco Hernandez Junior College
Daiss joins the Huskers after playing two seasons at Pasco Hernandez Junior College. • Helped the Bobcats to an 80-31 overall record in two years. • Earned first-team all-conference accolades after recording 69 strikeouts and a 2.45 ERA in 69.1 innings of work as a sophomore. • Tallied 56 strikeouts and a 1.36 ERA in 54 innings in debut season at Pasco Hernandez JC. • Led the Bobcats to a 41-15 record in 2022 and 39-16 mark in 2023.

TNXL Academy
Played in freshman and sophomore seasons before attending a Baseball Academy that did not fall under national high school rules or schedules in junior and senior years. • Led the Ducks to back-to-back district championships as a freshman and sophomore. • Tallied a 0.76 ERA in 12 innings as a freshman before compiling a 1.67 ERA in 10 innings in sophomore season. • Helped the Leesburg Lightning to an 18-9 record in the Florida Collegiate League in 2022. • With the Lightning, recorded 18 strikeouts in 19.1 innings.

Born on June 15, 2000. • Parents are Shane and Christina Daiss. • Has one sister, Briana, and one brother, Brock. • Sister, Briana, played college softball at Marshall. • Majoring in human development and family science.
