Played in 51 games, making 49 starts in debut season at Nebraska. • Hit .276 at the plate with nine doubles, a triple and six homers. • Drove in 29 runs and scored 41 runs. • Recorded a .394 on-base percentage. • Finished second on the team with 16 stolen bases in 19 attempts. • Tied for second on the team with 29 walks on the season. • Compiled 13 multi-hit games, including a three-hit performance and a four-hit game. • Tallied three hits at Minnesota and recorded a season-high four hits against Florida in Stillwater Regional. • Had seven games with two-plus RBI, including one three-RBI game and a pair of four-RBI contests.

Cisco College
Overbeek comes to Nebraska after playing one season at Cisco College, where he was a first-team all-conference selection and finished runner-up for Conference Player of the Year. • Appeared in 56 games with the Wranglers, hitting .415 at the plate with 17 doubles, four triples, 11 home runs, 55 RBI and 64 runs scored. • Posted a .522 on-base percentage and a .732 slugging percentage. • Totaled 21 multi-hit games, including nine games of at least three hits. • Recorded 14 multi-RBI games and score three-plus runs in seven contests at Cisco.

Pitt
Played in 21 games, including six starts in lone season with Panthers in 2022. • Recorded seven hits, including a home run, to go along with eight walks, three RBI and eight runs scored. • Had a pair of two-hit performances at Miami. • Hit lone home run in a pinch-hit appearance against Georgia Tech.

Anderson High School
Lettered in baseball and basketball at Anderson High School. • Ranked No. 57 first baseman nationally and No. 20 overall prospect out of Ohio in the class of 2021 by Perfect Game. • Named a Perfect Game Underclass All-American and was a PBR Ohio All-State First-Team selection. • Recorded a .458 batting average, 1.532 OPS and eight homers in senior season. • Earned all-state and all-Cincinnati recognition. • Tabbed Eastern Cincinnati Conference Player of the Year. • Named to the Eastern Cincinnati Conference All-Academic Team.

Born on Nov. 4, 2002. • Parents are Bobby and Susie Overbeek. • Has two sisters, Abigail and Chloe, and one brother, Josiah. • Majoring in human development and family science.
