Named to the Second-Team All-Big Ten Team. • Made 17 appearances on the mound, starting in 11 games in first season with the Huskers. • Went 9-3 with a 3.45 ERA. • Totaled 91 punchouts in 73 innings. • Limited opposing hitters to a .239 hitting clip. • Named Big Ten Pitcher of the Week after dealing seven shutout innings with nine strikeouts at Rutgers. • Had five outings with at least six innings, including a season-high 7.1 innings vs. Indiana. • Struck out nine-plus batters in five starts, including three games with at least 10 strikeouts and a season-high 11 punchouts against Ohio State in the Big Ten Tournament.

Cloud County Community College
McConnaughey joins the Huskers playing one season at Cloud County Community College. • Earned first-team All-KJCCC and second-team All-Region 6 accolades in lone season with Thunderbirds. • Made 16 appearances, making 13 starts with an 8-4 record, one save and three complete games. • Compiled 93 strikeouts to just 23 walks in 68.1 innings. • Limited opposing hitters to a .227 batting average. • Had six outings with at least seven strikeouts, including a season-high 10 strikeouts against Pratt CC, Barton CC and Dodge City CC.
