Played one season at Grossmont College, leading the Griffins to a 31-13 record in 2025. • Named Pacific Coast Athletic Association Player of the Year and selected to the All-PCAC First Team. • Appeared in 43 games, batting .380 at the plate with 15 doubles, 19 home runs, 31 RBI and 58 runs scored. • Posted a .491 slugging percentage and .782 slugging percentage. • Swiped three stolen bases and drew 30 walks.

Lettered four years in baseball at Maranatha Christian School. • Posted a .438 batting average with 39 doubles, two triples, 25 homers, 110 RBI and 122 runs scored across 100 varsity games. • Batted .440 with 21 extra-base hits, 23 RBI and 39 runs as a senior. • Hit .522 at the plate with 15 doubles, two triples, 12 home runs, 52 RBI and 52 runs scored in junior season. • Participated in the 2021 Perfect Game Underclass All-American Games. • Tabbed a 2022 Perfect Game Preseason Underclass All-American and 2023 Preseason All-American. • Holds Maranatha Christian single-season and career record for home runs. • Also holds career school records for slugging percentage, hits, RBI, runs, doubles and games played. • Became the 10th player to ever log a 60-hit season in San Diego County history.

Parents are David and Karen Newhan. • Has one sister, Gianna. • Father, David, played two seasons as an all-conference player at Pepperdine and was drafted in the 17th round of the 1995 MLB Draft by the Oakland Athletics. • Majoring in criminology and criminal justice.
