2024
Started 61 of NU’s 62 games in his first season with the Huskers. • Hit .256 with five doubles and two triples. • Drove in 20 runs and scored a team-high 51 times. • Was hit by pitch 26 times, which ranks second-most in program history and was ninth-most nationally last season. • Finished 17th nationally after stealing 32 bases on 35 attempts. • Dropped down a nation-leading 18 sacrifice bunts on the season. • Posted a .406 on-base percentage. • Totaled 14 multi-hit games, including three contests with three hits. • Tallied a season-high three hits at Grand Canyon, College of Charleston and Michigan State. • Drove in multiple runs in four games, including one game with three RBI.

Barton County Community College
Silva joins the Huskers after playing two seasons at Barton County Community College. • Appeared in 66 games with the Cougars, hitting .361 at the plate with 11 doubles, seven triples, 41 RBI, 75 runs and 45 stolen bases in his time at Barton CC. • Garnered Second-Team All-Region VI and First-Team All-KJCCC recognition as a sophomore in 2023. • Played in 55 games as a sophomore, hitting .368 with 11 doubles, six triples, 39 RBI, 71 runs and 44 stolen bases. • Had nine games with two-plus stolen bases, including three games with three steals. • Tallied 19 multi-hit games and 10 multi-RBI performances, including a season-high five hits and six RBI against Seward County CC. 

St. Benedict Catholic Secondary School
Played in the Great Lake Canadians program that was coached by former Husker standout Adam Stern. • Helped the team to a CPBL 17U championship and earned a Gold Glove in 2019. • Competed in volleyball and track. • Was second-team all-district in volleyball as a senior after helping team to back-to-back district championships and runner-up finishes at the CWOSSA Championships. • On the track, was a district champion in the 100m and 200m while winning the 100m at the CWOSSA Championships. • Set the junior boys record in the 100m and 200m.

Born on March 19, 2002. • Parents are José and Stephanie Silva. • Brother, Tyler, played college baseball at NE Oklahoma A&M and North Dakota State.
