Led PJC to a school-record 35 wins and a runner-up finish in the Region XIV Conference in 2006 ? Earned first-team all-conference honors at second base, hitting .375 with six homers, 56 RBIs, 20 doubles and 15 stolen bases ? Took a medical redshirt in 2005 ? Began his junior college career at San Jacinto College, where he started at third base and hit .300 with five homers and 35 RBIs to help the Gators to a 41-22 record and a runner-up finish at the 2004 NJCAA World Series ? Played four sports (football, baseball, basketball and track) at Paris High School, totaling 11 varsity letters ?
