Before Nebraska (Bloomington South HS/Indiana/Oklahoma)
Dasan McCullough played one season at Indiana (2022) and two years at Oklahoma (2023 and 2024) before transferring to Nebraska. He played in 22 games with 12 starts for the Hoosiers and Sooners, totaling 79 tackles, 10.0 tackles for loss, 4.0 sacks and six pass breakups.
McCullough missed the first five games of Oklahoma’s 2024 season but returned to play in seven games with one start, totaling 17 tackles with 2.5 TFLs. In his first season with the Sooners in 2023, McCullough played in 10 games with seven starts, recording 30 tackles, 3.5 tackles for loss and three pass breakups.
Prior to Oklahoma, McCullough was a freshman All-American at Indiana in 2022. In his lone season with the Hoosiers, McCullough played in all 12 games with four starts. An honorable-mention All-Big Ten selection, McCullough tallied 49 tackles while leading Indiana with 4.0 sacks and ranking second with 6.5 TFLs. He also broke up three passes on the season.
Before college, McCullough was the highest-ranked prospect to ever sign with Indiana. He was ranked as one of the top 50 prospects in the country by ESPN and was regarded among the top five outside linebackers by both ESPN and Rivals. McCullough played his senior season for Bloomington South High School after previously playing for Blue Valley North High School in Kansas. McCullough was a high school All-American and the 2020 MaxPreps Kansas High School Player of the Year
