2024 (Redshirt)
David Hoffken has played in one game this season. He made his Nebraska debut against UTEP.

Before Nebraska (Kiel Baltic Hurricanes)
Hoffken joined the Huskers program from the international level after gaining experience playing American football in his native Germany. Hoffken was part of the Gridiron Imports organization and worked out at a camp in Texas in front of Nebraska coaches in June of 2024. After the camp concluded, Hoffken received an offer from the Huskers in which he accepted on the spot.

Hoffken had never played football in the United States prior to joining the Huskers. But he did gain experience in Germany, playing three seasons for the Cologne Crocodiles and one season for the Kiel Baltic Hurricanes.

The 22-year-old measures at a 6-11 wingspan with a broad jump of 9-4. Hoffken also held offers from Houston and North Texas.\
