2024 (Junior)
Elijah Jeudy has played in every game this season, totaling six tackles with 1.5 tackles for loss. He had a half TFL in the season opener against UTEP. Jeudy recorded a solo tackle against Northern Iowa. He made another solo tackle at Purdue. Jeudy finished with two tackles against Rutgers, including a 1-yard TFL. He recorded one solo tackle at Ohio State and Jeudy was a lead blocker on Nebraska's 1-yard touchdown run that gave the Huskers a fourth-quarter lead.
2023 (Sophomore)
Jeudy played in 11 games in 2023 and finished with a career-high eight tackles with 1.0 tackles for loss and one blocked field goal. He was a big part of a Blackshirt defense that posted Nebraska’s best rushing defense (92.9 yards per game), total defense (303.5 yards per game) and scoring defense (18.3 points per game) since the Huskers joined the Big Ten in 2011. NU ranked in the top 20 nationally in each of those three categories, including eighth in rush defense.
Jeudy had a career-high two tackles against Louisiana Tech. Jeudy had a pair of solo tackles against Northwestern, including a three-yard tackle for loss for his first career TFL. Against Purdue, Jeudy blocked a field goal attempt, and his block resulted in a 68-yard return for a touchdown by Quinton Newsome.
Before Nebraska (Northeast HS/Texas A&M)
Jeudy joined the Nebraska program after spending two seasons at Texas A&M. He played in one game in 2021 and made a tackle against Prairie View. As a redshirt freshman in 2022, Jeudy appeared in November games against Florida and LSU.
Jeudy was a standout performer at Northeast High School in Philadelphia, where he was coached by Chris Riley. Jeudy made 51 tackles and had six sacks as a senior and was regarded as one of the top 10 players in Pennsylvania and among the nation’s top 15 edge players. A four-star prospect by all the major recruiting outlets, Jeudy also participated in track and field in high school.
Personal
Elijah is the son of Clifford and Kia Jeudy, and he was born on April 19, 2003. He is majoring in child, youth and family studies.
