Before Nebraska (Louisville HS/Mississippi State)
Gabe Moore spent two seasons at Mississippi State before transferring to Nebraska. Moore did not play in a game and redshirted in his first season in 2023 before missing the 2024 season with an injury.
Moore played his prep ball at Louisville High School in Mississippi. As a senior, Moore totaled 116 tackles with 39.0 tackles for loss, 12 sacks, five forced fumbles and two pass breakups. He helped the Wildcats to a state title, recording eight tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss and a forced fumble in the state championship game. Following his high school career, Moore was selected to participate in the Mississippi-Alabama All-Star Game.
