Before Nebraska (Pahokee HS/Kentucky)
Hardley Gilmore IV played one season at Kentucky before transferring to Nebraska. Gilmore had six catches for 153 yards in 2024, averaging 25.5 yards per catch.
Gilmore missed the first five games of Kentucky’s 2024 season due to injury, and all six of his catches came in the final five games of the year. Gilmore had his best game of the year in his first career start against Murray State, finishing with two receptions for 72 yards, including a 52-yard touchdown. Five of Gilmore’s six catches went for at least 20 yards.
Before Kentucky, Gilmore was a four-star prospect out of Pahokee High School in Florida. He graduated a year early, reclassifying from the class of 2025 to the class of 2024. He was ranked among the nation’s top 45 wide receivers by On3.
Gilmore began his prep career as an eighth grader at Glades Day High School. After one season at The Benjamin School, Gilmore played his final two seasons at Pahokee. He caught 43 passes for 1,003 yards in 2022 to earn a spot on the Palm Beach Post Super 11 team. In his final season in 2023, Gilmore totaled 52 catches for 879 yards and 15 touchdowns.
Gilmore also competed in track and field, finishing third at the 2023 Florida 1A state meet and sixth in the 800 meters.
