2024 (Redshirt)
Jake Peters did not play in a game while using his redshirt season in 2024.

Before Nebraska (Cedar Falls HS)
Peters was a star lineman at Cedar Falls High School. He helped Coach Brad Remmert’s team to a pair of state playoff appearances.

As a senior, Peters fueled Cedar Falls to an 8-4 record and the quarterfinals of the Class 5A state playoffs. Peters was named to the Des Moines Register’s Class 5A first-team all-state squad for his dominant play on the Tigers’ offensive line. Peters was also a powerful force on the offensive line during his junior season, helping Cedar Falls High to an 8-3 record and a state playoff appearance. 

Away from the football field, Peters qualified for state in the shot put as a junior and in the discus as a senior. He was also a member of the Tiger basketball team.
Peters was a consensus choice as a top 15 player in the state of Iowa. He is ranked among the top 70 interior offensive linemen by ESPN.

Jake is the son of Corey and Michelle Peters. Jake is a business administration major.
