Before Nebraska (Lee's Summit North HS/Southern Illinois)
Jamir Conn played two seasons at FCS Southern Illinois before transferring to Nebraska. In his two seasons as a Saluki, Conn played in 23 games with 11 starts and totaled 68 tackles, 4.5 tackles for loss, nine pass breakups, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery.
Conn recorded 11 tackles as a freshman in 2023 and added three pass breakups and one fumble recovery in 12 games. He moved into the starting lineup as a sophomore in 2024, starting 11 games and posting 57 tackles, 3.5 tackles for loss, six pass breakups and one forced fumble. Conn had at least five tackles in six of his 11 games.
Conn played his prep ball for Lee’s Summit North High School in Missouri. He helped his team to a state championship as a senior, when he was an all-state, all-conference and all-district selection. Conn played two seasons at Lee’s Summit after moving to Kansas City from Maryland.
