The 6-3, 300-pound Mancino played on both sides of the ball during his prep career for Coach Jeff Rainess. Holmdel posted a 7-1 record in 2020, with the team averaging better than 200 rushing yards per game behind Mancino’s powerful work on the offensive line. Mancino earned first-team New Jersey All-Shore honors as a senior and was also an all-division selection. During Mancino’s junior year, Holmdel posted a 6-4 record and advanced to the playoffs. Mancino had scholarship offers from FCS schools Wagner and Stetson, and opportunities to walk-on at Rutgers, Wake Forest, Florida Atlantic and Texas Tech among others.
