Before Nebraska (Sheyenne HS)
Kade Pietrzak was a state champion and the top player in the state for Sheyenne High School in North Dakota. Pietrzak helped the Mustangs to a pair of state championships during his career.

As a senior, Pietrzak was the 2024 MaxPreps North Dakota High School Football Player of the Year and Class 3A Senior Athlete of the Year. He helped Sheyenne High to a state championship playing on both the offensive and defensive lines. Pietrzak totaled 58 tackles, 26 TFLs and five sacks as a senior. During his junior year, Pietrzak logged 72 tackles, 19 tackles for loss and two sacks. He earned first-team all-state honors for his performance as a junior.

A four-star recruit, Pietrzak was the consensus choice as the No. 1 player in North Dakota. He was listed as one of the nation’s top 200 players by On3, which also ranked Pietrzak as the No. 24 defensive line prospect in the country.
