Tanner Terch was a two-way standout at Heritage High School in Colorado. The top recruit in the state, Terch was a star wideout and defensive back. As a receiver, Terch had 120 receptions and 2,356 receiving yards in his career with 30 total touchdowns.
Terch, who helped Heritage to three straight playoff appearances, totaled 1,312 receiving yards and 16 touchdowns in 13 games as a senior in 2024, averaging more than 100 receiving yards per game. He also rushed for 142 yards and four touchdowns while posting 30 tackles with two pass breakups. As a junior, Terch was an all-state honoree after he caught 55 passes for 876 receiving yards and eight touchdowns. He also added two rushing touchdowns on just four carries. Terch had seven catches for 168 yards as a sophomore with two touchdown catches.
A three-sport athlete, Terch also plays basketball and runs track, clocking personal-best times of 10.93 in the 100 meters and 23.03 in the 200 meters.
A consensus three-star recruit, Terch is recognized as the top player in Colorado by both ESPN and 247Sports.
