2024 (Redshirt)
Thomas D’Onofrio did not play in a game and redshirted in his first season at Nebraska.

Before Nebraska (Middleton HS)
D’Onofrio joined the Nebraska program as a safety prospect after he showed his ability as a ballhawk at Middleton (Wis.) High School.

D’Onofrio had a hand in nine turnovers in the 2023 season, including seven interceptions, helping Middleton to a 9-2 record and a trip to the second round of the Division I state playoffs. His play as a junior helped Coach Jason Pertzborn’s team to a 7-4 record and a state playoff berth.

D’Onofrio also competed in track and field. He had an opportunity to join the Penn State program.
