2024 (Sophomore)
Tyler Knaak played in eight games in 2024, despite dealing with an injury. He was a key member of Nebraska's special teams while also working into the offensive line rotation.
2023 (Redshirt Freshman)
Tyler Knaak played in nine games in his first season at Nebraska in 2023. He saw action as a reserve on the offensive line, and most of his work came on the Huskers’ PAT and FG protection unit.
Before Nebraska (Brighton HS/Utah)
Knaak spent the 2022 season at the University of Utah where he redshirted. He was one of the top 20 prospects in the state of Utah after an outstanding high school career at Brighton High School.
Knaak was a first-team all-region selection as a senior at Brighton when he had 72 pancake blocks and had an overall grade of 86 percent. Knaak switched to offense as a senior after beginning his career on the defensive line. He made 19 tackles as a junior. Knaak posted a 14-1 record as a heavyweight wrestler, before his season was cut short by injury.
Personal
Tyler is the son of Tim and Jenny Knaak. Tyler is an environmental studies major who is on track to graduate in December of 2025.
