BEFORE NEBRASKA
Justin Bolis played one season at Southeast Community College for Coach Joel Wooton, where he started all 31 games for the Bobcats. He averaged 15.5 points per game on 52 percent shooting, 8.7 rebounds, 1.4 assists and 1.2 blocks per game. Bolis, who was named to the Nebraska Community College Athletic All-Conference Team, shot 37.5 percent from 3-point range.  He reached double figures 26 times, including each of the final 17 contests, and had seven 20-point efforts. He totaled 11 double-doubles, including a 21-point, 15-rebound effort against North Iowa Area CC. Bolis had 25 points against Central Community College-Columbus, and had 24 points on 10-of-14 shooting, including 4-of-5 from 3-point range along with 10 rebounds in the Region IX title game.  He had 15 points and 13 against United Tribes Tech in the North District Tournament.  Bolis played at Lincoln High School for Coach Dan Noble, as he averaged nine points and six rebounds per game as a senior. He was named to the Heartland Athletic Conference All-Tournament team and was an academic all-conference pick as he carried a 3.6 GPA. Bolis missed his entire junior season with an Achillies tear. He played AAU basketball with the Lincoln Supreme and Coach Zach Tharanet.

PERSONAL
The son of Betty Lado and Zakaria Liyango, Justin was born on June 10, 2005, in Atlanta, Ga. Justin is majoring in business administration at Nebraska.
