Sheryl Burbach

Sheryl Burbach is in her ninth season with the Husker basketball program and seventh as assistant director of basketball operations.

Burbach handles many of the business and operational functions for the coaching staff, including staff travel, expense accounts and budgeting. She also coordinates events around the Husker basketball program, including Legends Weekend and Senior Night. She also assists in team travel, the coordination of the Fred Hoiberg Basketball Camps and Clinics, as well as day-to-day office operations. Burbach also manages speaking and charitable requests for Coach Hoiberg.

Prior to joining the Huskers, Burbach worked for Nebraska’s 4-H Office and Nebraska Extension. 

Burbach is originally from Sumner, Neb., and moved to Lincoln during high school. She and her husband, Melvin, have four sons, John, Grant, Matthew and Christopher.
