A.J. Morgan competed in two meets for Nebraska and set a personal best in rings with a score of 12.50 in the Rocky Mountain Open.
Outside of the gym, Morgan was named to the Tom Osborne Citizenship Team.
Before Nebraska
Prior to Nebraska, A.J. Morgan competed for Nebraska School of Gymnastics under head coach Chuck Chmelka and assistant coach Paul Schumacher. Morgan joins his former teammate, Noah Urwiler, as the only two Nebraska natives on the current roster. Morgan competed at the 2019 Junior Olympic National Championships where he placed third on floor and eighth in the all-around. He also competed at the 2018 Junior Olympic National Championships where he placed eighth on vault.

Alan Joseph "A.J." was born on February 4, 2002, and is from Lincoln, Nebraska. He is the son of Beth and Kletus Morgan.
