2026 (Redshirt Sophomore)
Koppie had an excellent 2026 season. He opened up the season at the Rocky Mountain Open, where he hit a 12.25 on rings and a 12.90 on high bar. At the home quad meet, he had a career-high on rings of 13.55, which he later broke at the NCAA Finals. During the Oklahoma meet, he competed on vault and notched a career-high 14.10. He received his career-high on high bar during the Simpson and Greenville meet, where he hit a 13.70. At Big Ten Qualifiers, he had a 13.25 on high bar. During the NCAA Qualifiers, he had a 13.166 on high bar. He concluded his season at the NCAA Finals, where he notched a career-high 13.60 on rings for 11th place and a 13.30 on high bar. He had one individual title this season on high bar. Outside of the gym, he was named Academic All-Big Ten and made the Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll during the fall of 2025. He majors in Criminal Justice.
2025 (Redshirt Freshman)
Koppie debuted for the Huskers at Greenville, setting career highs of 11.75 on still rings and 13.75 on vault.
Academically, the Georgia native earned an Academic All-Big Ten award, a spot on the school’s Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll in the fall and was a Tom Osborne Citizenship Team member.
2024 (Redshirt)
An all-arounder from Georgia, Anthony Koppie did not compete in any meets for Nebraska as a freshman in 2024.
Before Nebraska
Koppie competed for Roswell Gymnastics under Head Coach Felippe Mendonça. The Fayetteville, Ga. native is a six-time national qualifier and competed in the 2022 U.S. Gymnastics Championships. As a two-time Junior Olympic national championship competitor, Koppie earned a sixth-place finish on vault in 2021. He is majoring in Criminal Justice.
