2025 (Sophomore)
Chase Mondi had a superb sophomore season, earning his first All-American honors after taking home silver on floor with a career high of 14.66. Mondi was deemed a CGA Regular Season All-American after being nationally ranked first on the floor. He also competed on vault for the Huskers, posting a 14.65 at the Michigan meet. The Lawrence, Kan., native earned two event titles on both events for a total of four titles this season. Mondi also competed on high bar for NU having a career high of 11.90 at the Greenville meet. 

Outside of the gym, he was on the Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll in the fall, an Academic All-Big Ten honoree and a Tom Osborne Citizenship Team member. 

2024 (Freshman)
Mondi had an impressive freshman campaign as he was named both a CGA and Big Ten Freshman of the Week after the Huskers’ meet against Michigan. Mondi competed on both vault and floor in his third appearance as an NCAA collegiate athlete in his debut Husker season. On the floor exercise, the Kansas native headlined the event taking second overall, tying his career-best score in his rookie season (13.90). On vault, Mondi took sixth (14.60) and helped the Huskers match the current team record for the vault set back in 2018 at 73.200. Mondi competed regularly during the season, setting personal bests on the floor exercise with a 14.60 against Ohio State and a 14.85 on the vault.

Outside of the gym, Mondi was a member of the Tom Osborne Citizenship Team.


Before Nebraska

Mondi competed for Emerald City Gymnastics under Head Coach Mike Thomas and Steve Glickley. The Lawrence, Kan. native is a 2021 National Champion on floor, a four-time level ten Kansas State Champion in the all-around, 2021 all-around regional champion, and a 2022 Elite Team Cup Champion on vault. Mondi also is a four-time Academic All-American, in addition to being a two-time Region Three Elite team member.
