2026 (Freshman)
Roderiques competed in every regular-season meet for Nebraska during his rookie season. In his first meet as a Husker, he hit a 14.00 at the Rocky Mountain Open, which was his career-high on that event until the home quad meet, where he recorded a 14.20. During the meet against Penn State, he competed for NU on rings and had a 12.55. Later, he competed on rings during the Michigan meet, where he recorded a new career-high of 13.45. Also at the Michigan meet, he hit a new career-high on vault of 14.25. He competed at Big Ten Qualifiers, where he notched a 12.35 on rings and a 13.80 on vault. He finished out his freshman season competing at both NCAA Qualifiers and Finals for Nebraska. In qualifiers, he had a 13.133 on rings and a 14.10 on vault. In finals, he had a 13.90 on vault for a 14th-place finish. Throughout the season, he claimed one individual title on vault. He was awarded CGA Rookie of the Week and Big Ten Freshman of the Week once during the season. Outside of the gym, Roderiques made the Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll in the fall of 2025, and he is majoring in Sports Media.  

Before Nebraska 
Ty Roderiques competed at GymTek Academy under Coach Matt Henry. This club also trained Huskers Alex Nitache and Nik Tarca in Knoxville, Tenn. Roderiques was a two-time U.S. Junior National Team Member, the 2023 U.S. vault champion and finished second on vault, fourth on pommel and third in the all-around at the 2024 U.S. Championships. He recently competed at the 2025 London Open, placing first in the all-around. 

Personal 
Ty is the son of Shawn and Adrienne Roderiques and has an older sister, Sarah. Ty plans to major in sports media and communications at Nebraska.
