Jacob Luiken serves Nebraska Athletics as an assistant athletic training working for the men's gymnastics program. Luiken joined the Nebraska athletic medicine staff full time in 2018.
Luiken is certified in first aid CPR and is a basic life support educator. He is also a licensed limited radiographer.
A Newcastle, Nebraska, native, Luiken earned his Master's of Arts in kinesiology and exercise science from the University of South Dakota in 2018. Earning his Bachelor of Arts in athletic training from the University of Nebraska in 2016, Luiken served as a student athletic trainer and was a part of the 2015 National Champion Volleyball Team.
Jacob is married to his wife, Katie, and they have two sons, Jaxton and Jalen.
