2025-26: Junior
 
In his first fall season with Nebraska, Lamchinniah went 3-5 in singles and 4-3 in doubles. He went 2-2 at the Big Ten Individual Championships in singles and went 3-1 with partner Leo Linquet in doubles at the tournament. They together had the best doubles record for Nebraska in that fall season. In Lamchinniah's collegiate career, he is up to 38 single wins and 26 double wins. 

2024-25 (Sophomore at Sacramento State)
After transferring to Sacramento State, Henry Lamchinniah earned unanimous selection for the all-Big Sky singles first team. Lamchinniah competed for the Hornets at No. 1 singles, garnering a 14-5 dual record. Taking nine matches in straight sets, he also led the Hornets in wins. Lamchinniah played No. 1 doubles for Sac State, and went 10-7. He was named Big Sky Player of the Week on March 12.

2023-24 (Freshman at Southern Mississippi)
In his first collegiate season, Lamchinniah tallied 23 combined wins. The freshman went 7-6 in dual singles and 5-6 in dual doubles. He competed at No. 1 doubles and in the No. 4 and No. 5 singles slots. He was honored on the Southern Miss Dean's List.

Joining the Huskers
The Nebraska men’s tennis team builds its roster with the addition of Sacramento State transfer and unanimous All-Big Sky first team selection Henry Lamchinniah for the 2025-26 season. The rising junior competed at No. 1 singles for the Hornets, leading the team with 14 dual victories.

“We are extremely excited to have Henry join our family,” head coach Peter Kobelt said. “We are very thorough throughout our recruiting process because Nebraska is reserved for only the very best. Henry is going to be a great Husker. Look for him to come to Lincoln and be a great teammate, be active in the community and embody exactly what it means to be a Husker student-athlete.”

Before Nebraska
Originally from Adelaide, Australia, Lamchinniah spent his freshman season at Southern Mississippi. Prior to his collegiate career, he also played for Australia at the Junior Australian Open. Lamchinniah has two years of eligibility remaining.

His parents are Linda Lam and Mano Chinniah and he is majoring in nutrition and health sciences.
