Jessalyn Wilson

Jessalyn Wilson is in her first season as an RD Fellow with the Nebraska Performance Nutrition program, where she works directly with the Husker women’s golf team, the Nebraska softball program and the NU rifle team.

 

Wilson graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in nutrition and dietetics from Viterbo University in La Crosse, Wis., in 2023, before earning her master’s degree in the same field from Viterbo in 2024.

 

She served as a dietetic intern with the Huskers from August to October of 2023. She also did a four-month internship at Mercyhealth Wisconsin (Janesville) and Illinois (Rockford) from January to April of 2024.

 

Wilson was heavily involved in competitive dance at Viterbo, where she captured NAIA All-America honors in 2020 and 2023. She was also a College Sports Communicators Academic All-District selection in 2023. She was a three-time Daktronics NAIA Scholar-Athlete award winner.

 

She gained additional experience as a dance educator and choreographer for five years.
